Athos Coffee-table

Furniture Design Athos Coffee-table by Patricia Salgado Inspired by the mosaic panels created by the Brazilian modernist artist Athos Bulcao, this coffee-table with hidden drawers was designed with the purposes of bringing the beauty of his panels - and their bright colours and perfect shapes - into the inner space. The above inspiration was combined with a children's handcraft consisting in four matchboxes glued together to build a table for a doll house. Due to the mosaic, the table references a puzzle box. When closed, the drawers cannot be noticed.
