The Grand Tea Tray

Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware and Cookware Design The Grand Tea Tray by Guokun Wang The Grand is a tea tray designed for traditional Chinese tea brewing. The main body is made of black stone, with an inlay of luxury stone placed according to the golden section. The tray surface is shaped as a stepped geometric form with a gradient between high and low levels. Water flows from the higher area, where the teapot stands, to the lower area, where the cups are placed, and then leaves through a hidden outlet. The stone is shaped by CNC machining with additional manual work, and the surface is polished.
